Dogs are such an integral part of our lives that they have been included in many TV shows. Can you remember such TV dogs as Lassie, Eddie ( Frasier) and Duke (The Beverly Hillbillies)? I bet you can catch some of those shows on the Direct TV station TV Land.
There seems to be a higher amount of dogs in movies than there have been as regulars in TV shows. I often catch Men in Black on DirectTV with Frank the pug. Other movies that seem to make the rounds regularly on TV is the Harry Potter films with that giant scardey cat dog, Fang. Of course the Wizard of Oz makes the rounds at least once a year with Toto.
What are your favorite dog movies? Is it one that has a dog as the main character or in a supporting role. Is the dog comic relief? or does the dog talk? Have you gone out of your way to watch a dog movie on TV lately? Did you check your TV guide on Directv just to see if your favorite dog movie was on or did you watch it online?
